A Spiritual Place

Of all the places I've photographed in the west, Taos is imbued with an overwhelming silent, and overt spirituality.

It's something you feel. Its in the clean high desert air, it's in the adobe walls of the many historica churches such as SAnte Fe Anini pso often photographed by Ansel Adams, Paul Strand, and many others. Home to Mabel Dodge and a host of artist, such as Georgia O'keefe, writers like DH Lawrence who gave it's history  national attention, Taos became a center of native ameriican culture, religion, western thought, and spanish ciulture all infused by the beautiful New Mecxican skies and lanscape.
