" A VELVET HAND, A HAWKS EYE". - HENRI CARTIER BRESSON
Southern Utah has a monsoon season mid-July through September..It's one of the best times of the year to photograph in southwestern Utah. with the most incredible, unpredictable weather, where rain, wind, lighting, clouds and skies change rapidly with the tumulous conditions...One should always have a camera..(.and an escape route from flood waters ). But this day I didnt as I wasn't really out photographing.. As luck would be, I could see a storm brewing along the Virgin River coming out of Zion along the Sheep Bridge Preserve...I headed over anyway and of course as I at least had my phone so that had to do. The 45 minutes or so under these skies was memorable to say the least and I was at least able to capture some of the heavens show with my phone.!! .I always look forward to monsoon season !!
